ClearHull the Next Generation Ultrasonic Antifouling System offering protection for yachts & boats

We exhibited at Europe’s largest boat show Boot Düsseldorf 2014 - next show will be Dinghyshow in London.

Introducing the totally new ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System for yachts & boats created by an experienced team of engineers and marine biologists to bring together design engineering with a deep understanding of marine algae and crustaceans. Having designed advanced water treatment systems for commercial and industrial applications this technology has now been developed and manufactured here in the UK specifically for the marine environment to provided the best Ultrasonic Atifouling protection for yachts & boats.

The patent pending ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System from Ultrasonic Works is an intelligent, well engineered product of exceptional quality, far exceeding the effectiveness of existing primitive ultrasonic antifouling technology. The ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System not only keeps a hull clean it can also communicate it’s status to you via your mobile phone or computer.

When the ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling system is first registered for warranty, your own page is created on the Ultrasonic Works web portal where the owner can view statistics of the boats power usage, transducer status and other data. The ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System is monitored by Ultrasonic Works via a GSM modem fitted in the control box. If for any reason the boats ClearHull System shuts down, Ultrasonic Works will alert the owner via an SMS message.
Almost all other Ultrasonic Antifouling Systems currently available run on 1000volts through the cable to the transducer. The ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling Systems is unique in having only 12 volts through the cable. This is not only safer when it potentially comes into contact with water in the bilge but also offers no electrical interference to wireless navigation systems or communications on-board.
The CNC machined alloy transducer housing is marine grade anodised to create a robust and maintenance free unit. The ergonomic control box has solid state components and is exceptionally easy to use and install.
The unique patented fixing system of the transducer with the yacht or boat ensures 100% transfer of the sonic protection is available around the hull. Only ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System achieves this level of efficiency which means less power required to achieve equivalent or better than other systems.
The ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System can be configured for any particular boat requirement, allowing variable power settings for the transducers. Existing systems in the market today are preconfigured irrespective of the size or shape of the boat, which clearly can’t be right. With ClearHull its unique power monitoring of each transducer, 3D motion sensing and temperature sensor allows the system to dynamically reduce or increase output in response to obtain the most effective protection.
Ultrasonic Works has carried out exhaustive testing of the ClearHull Ultrasonic Antifouling System throughout the product development. This includes lab testing to establish the exact frequencies needed to protect the hull from a wide range of water born algae, barnacles and other crustaceans. Extensive testing on a large number of yachts, trialling against traditional antifouling coatings. Durability testing the system and individual components over long periods to guarantee longevity.
